Laylatul Qadr

Bismillah

As-salam ‘alaykum,

Alhamdullilah, we are already in the last 10 nights of Shahr Ramadhan. According to tradition from the Holy Prophet and his family, there’s a particular importance placed on 19th, 21st, and 23rd as being amongst potential Laylatul Qadr nights. According to other traditions, it could be any of the 10 odd nights including the 27th night.

We recently came across an excellent resource titled “My Laylatul Qadr Amaal Book".  Please click here to download the pdf. Parents or teachers can use this resource to engage their children (ages 4-10).  We personally think this is a simple resource that older children and adults can use.

Please consider sharing this blog post with your family and friends. Also, we are in the process of compiling a more exhaustive list of Laylatul Qadr resources for children and parents. If you have found any resources (e.g, websites, worksheets, articles, books, lectures, animated videos etc), that you have found helpful, please leave a comment below or email us your suggestion at farooq@taqwamedia.com.

Please do remember the many oppressed people in your duas (e.g, Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, Syria)!

was-salam,

Dr. Farooq Bandali

PS: Although we have vetted this resource, we aren't sure of the original compilers.  If you are aware, please share with us as we would like to credit them.
